  As a Senior Urban Planner working on a GIS-based Master Plan under the AMRUT Scheme, my activitiesincluded: Leading the team responsible for developing the Master Plan, which involved managing andmentoring junior urban planners, GIS experts, and technical staff. Conducting research and analysis on relevant urban planning issues, such as transportation,housing, land use, and infrastructure development, to inform the Master Plan. Using GIS software and tools to develop a comprehensive and accurate base map of the study area,which served as the foundation for the Master Plan. Collaborating with other professionals, such as architects, engineers, and transportation planners,to ensure that the Master Plan was integrated with other aspects of the development scheme. Conducting stakeholder consultations and public engagement activities to gather feedback and inputon the Master Plan, and ensuring that these were incorporated into the final plan. Preparing reports, presentations, and other communication materials to effectively communicatethe Master Plan to stakeholders, including government officials, investors, and the public. Ensuring that the Master Plan was compliant with relevant regulations and policies, and that it metthe needs and requirements of the AMRUT Scheme. Providing technical support and guidance to other staff members involved in the Master Plan,including GIS experts, data analysts, and urban planners, to ensure that the project was delivered ontime and within budget. Show less As a Junior Urban Planner and GIS Expert, my activities involved working on a variety of projects relatedto urban and rural development, including: Rejuvenation of Waterbodies: This project involved identifying and mapping waterbodies in thestudy area, conducting field surveys to assess their condition and usage, and developing a plan fortheir rejuvenation. My activities included preparing base maps, collecting and analyzing data on thewaterbodies, developing GIS models to predict their hydrological behavior, and presenting theresults to stakeholders. Integrated Cluster Action Plan (Rural Development project): This project involved developing acomprehensive plan for the development of rural clusters, including infrastructure development,livelihood generation, and social welfare initiatives. My activities included conducting field surveysto gather data on the existing conditions, developing GIS models to assess the suitability of variousinterventions, and contributing to the preparation of the final plan. City Development Plan: This project involved developing a long-term plan for the development ofa city, including land use, infrastructure, transportation, and environmental management. Myactivities included preparing base maps, collecting and analyzing data on the existing conditions,developing GIS models to assess the impact of various interventions, and contributing to thepreparation of the final plan.   As a GIS Analyst involved in the preparation of a Revised Development Plan of VUDA, my activities included: Creating a base map for the Revised Development Plan 2041, which involved the use of various GISsoftware and tools to develop a comprehensive and accurate map of the study area. Converting the old development plan to a GIS platform to make it easier to update, maintain, andanalyze the plan using the latest technology. Collecting and processing data from various sources to prepare reports and presentations for thedevelopment plan. Efficiently managing the geospatial database by ensuring data integrity, quality control, and timelyupdates to support the development plan. Developing effective maps, presentations, and analysis using GIS software to support the planningprocess and decision-making. Collaborating with other professionals involved in the development plan, such as architects, urbanplanners, and engineers, to ensure that the GIS data and analysis are consistent with other aspectsof the plan. Providing technical support and training to others involved in the development plan to ensure thatthey can effectively use the GIS tools and data for their respective tasks.
