Projects included the renovation of the Reichstag in Berlin (Wettbewerb Umbau Reichstag), and the US$120 million correctional campus in Gelsenkirchen (Justizvollzugsanstalt Gelsenkirchen-Feldmark).

  Mark managed the development and implementation of prototype facilities and network strategies in North American, European and Asian markets for leading manufacturers; Chevrolet Motor Division, American Honda, Micro Compact Car, Mercedes Benz Asia, Capital Motors Taiwan. DeissGroup was one of the first-ever ISO 9001 certified service-sector groups in California.

  Mark led the Fairfield studio for TLCD Architecture - one of the largest service firms in the north Bay Area - in planning and design of transformative projects for public and private clients, including California State University, California Community College, Kaiser Permanente, and American Honda. Mark handled client relations, and developed designs, leading staff to superior levels of performance in the pursuit of design excellence.

  Mark was responsible for programming and planning long term County facility and real estate asset utilization, and other specialized major projects. Such projects involve planning, design and construction spanning several years and result in a new strategic facility approach, building type, major addition, or remodel of a complete complex of facilities. Mark's responsibilities included management level assignments, requiring significant planning, budgeting and design, some level of environmental review, and with results that have major impacts on County facilities.
