Projects included the renovation of the Reichstag in Berlin (Wettbewerb Umbau Reichstag), and the US$120 million correctional campus in Gelsenkirchen (Justizvollzugsanstalt Gelsenkirchen-Feldmark).

      Mark was responsible for programming and planning long term County facility and real estate asset utilization, and other specialized major projects. Such projects involve planning, design and construction spanning several years and result in a new strategic facility approach, building type, major addition, or remodel of a complete complex of facilities. Mark's responsibilities included management level assignments, requiring significant planning, budgeting and design, some level of environmental review, and with results that have major impacts on County facilities.
