  I have 30 + year’s professional experience within the Diagnostic Radiology business, in both public and private sector, worldwide. For the past 10 years I’ve served on the Castlereagh Imaging & Illawarra Radiology Senior Management Team, with Australia’s only global diagnostic imaging business; Sonic Imaging. Part of the senior management group leading a program of technology driven business transformation which has contributed to annual revenues in excess of $70 Million. Castlereagh Imaging/Illawarra Radiology Group is a federated member of the Sonic Healthcare Group including Douglas Hanley Moir Pathology which boasts annual revenues in excess of $5 Billion globally. Reporting directly to the Business Manager and CEO, I manage all Operational aspects of both technical and clerical staff in 20 Radiology sites across greater Sydney. In addition to the Operational role I am Clinical IT Manager responsible for all PACS/RIS and IT issues across the business. Central to this position is the software training of new and existing Radiologists and technical staff. I look after the overall project management of all of our major Radiology Practice and Infrastructure installations. This included a new comprehensive $10 Million Westmead practice and administration development which was successfully completed in 2010. Most recent projects include a 2nd MRI installation at our Westmead practice, and I’m currently overseeing the transition of Penrith Imaging from a joint venture with I-MED to a wholly owned subsidiary of Sonic Healthcare.My principle strengths include the ability to successfully implement change, communicate ideas and vision and deliver results. I have a passion for management within the Radiology sector, I have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. I’m consistently at the forefront within my field leading the way on integration and exploitation of new technologies including RIS development and RIS/PACS integration.. Show less
