      This was my 6 months long internship as a data scientist. I bagged this internship after winning INNOVATE FOR IIT, a 48 hours long hackathon organized by IIT Jammu and sponsored by Prithvi.AI. the internship was full of challenges. During my entire period of 5 months I met a lot of people new people and gained a lot of useful insights. I worked on the solutions for the problems faced by some of top product and service based companies of India and Abroad. As it was the time of Pandemic I was directly involved in making and designing of AI based covid screening projects from Canada and USA. Apart from this I was also indulged in projects based on Data Science and Machine Learning. Overall It was really a fruitful experience for me. Show less

      It was an opportunity by JPMorgan Chase to explore life as a software engineer at JPMorgan Chase and obtain valuable technology skills required to excel in the direction of software engineerng. Throughout the virtual experience, I got familiar with JPMorgan Chase's frameworks and how to apply my technical skills to a hypothetical request from the firm’s trading floor to analyze and visualize data in a new way.So These are the modules which I've completed:1. Interface with a stock price data feed : Set up my system for the data feed analysis, got the real time experience of stock data, Hands on experience on git commands and using git repo of JPMorgan Chase.2. Use JPMorgan Chase frameworks and tools : setting up the linux/mac environment for implementing the JPMorgan's Perspective open source code in preparation for data visualization, Hands on practice of React and Typescript, live visualization for 1000 entries of stock price data.3 Display Data visually for traders : Using Perspective tool to create visuals and charts for traders's dashboard, Hands on experience of financial data analysis.4 Open source contribution : contributing your ideas to Perspective or other Projects from JPMorgan Chase and Co. The hackathon was divided into several phases, first phase being the formation of team and submission of the prototye.
