  As a summer student, my responsibility was to assist with attending schools, daycares, festivals and libraries, promoting block parent. One of my major roles was to contact daycare centres and libraries to set up a date and time for when I could come to visit. I designed crafts, offered a free fingerprinting activity, and read a story about block parent so that children would become more aware of what block parent was about.

  My responsibility as a health care aid is assisting older adults with personal hygiene and activities of daily living, to report any changes in residents condition, to assist residents with nutritious meals, to assist with ambulation, mobilization, transferring and adaptive aids, to understand resident/client needs and maximize abilities and independence.
