  This event is the most prominent of all Christmas events in Brisbane, having impact across Australia through the TV broadcast. Typically this event attracts 10'000 people at the event with 180 artists involved on stage and over 60 people volunteering for many other areas of the event.  Handling budgets and working out cost cutting strategies.  Developing the website (www.carolsinthecity.com) including the implementation of email mailing lists  Implementing and developing the social media - facebook/twitter  Booking high profile artists including fee negotiation, travel and accommodation arrangements, contracts and general artist liaison  Venue liaison including negotiations on staffing and equipment based on requirements by contractors and others.  Fundraising through corporate sponsorship which also includes writing of sponsor agreements and ensuring all requirements of sponsors are met  Working with media partners to provide all information required to effectively promote the event.
