      Project Title: “Ruthenium(III) and Palladium(II)-Complexes of a Redox Active alpha diimine derivative: Synthesis, Molecular Electronic Structures and Redox Activities" During this period, I have worked on synthesis of various alpha and beta diiminemoieties and its transition metal complexes.The complexes were isolated and further characterized by FT-IR, UV-visible and ESI mass spectra. Some of the complexes were characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction studies.
