  • Liaise sensitively with bereaved families over in mem donations, as well as give support for their own fundraising activities and help establish/maintain tribute funds.• Ensure the efficient and accurate input of data on the charity’s database, keeping up to date on developments with existing, new and potential supporters. • Maintain communication and build relationships with solicitors, executors of wills and individual legacy pledgers, whilst keeping accurate and up to date records legacies pledged and received. • Help develop and implement legacy and in memoriam fundraising campaigns and strategies. • Contribute to the formulation and implementation of supporter strategies and communications plans.• Audit the effectiveness of fundraising campaigns, monitoring return on investment and also testing differing executions. • Communicate with supporters, making them feel valued and motivated.• Manage and develop internal relationships with colleagues from the care teams, Family Support and the Finance team to ensure continuing support for fundraising and to build efficient procedures.• Responsible for overseeing legacies and in memoriam fundraising.• Take an active role in the development of the Fundraising Team through cross-team working, team meetings, planning and budgeting.• Manage volunteers as and when necessary.• Keep up-to-date with new developments, legalities, codes of conduct and best practice within these two specific areas and also the wider fundraising sector.• Monitor/contribute to the legacies/in mem fundraising budget and report on a monthly basis.
