  Neighborhood Design Center is a non-profit urban design firm based out of Columbus, Ohio. They work in partnership with the City of Columbus, Franklin County as well as The Ohio State University through grants and some private funding to provide design services to underprivileged neighborhoods in the Columbus area. My time at the Design Center was spent doing facade improvement, signage and logo design, planning and landscape design projects. I worked with other interns as well as officials from the City of Columbus and Franklin County to complete projects. I was able to see all aspects of the design process, from initial ideas through to presenting to clients and representing those clients in front of various neighborhood commissions or city planning officials.
