  Women in Scholarship, Engineering, Science, & Technology (WISEST) focuses on creating effective education, outreach, and mentorship programs to empower women (and other underrepresented groups) to pursue, impact, and succeed in the fields of science, engineering, and technology.As the Program Support - Workshop Development and Presenter, my job was to:• Research, develop and deliver engaging professional development workshops to equip Alberta teachers with the skills necessary to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in STEM learning spaces• Establish and maintain partnerships with teachers to develop and implement STEM programming for underrepresented groups• Develop teaching materials, and other resources for program delivery with a focus on engaging, culturally relevant, community-specific activities that strategically address the learning needs identified by teachers in Alberta Show less
