      Mechanical Engineer - SAMREF SHARP Project (April 2020)Responsible for managing multiple packages, including Vacuum Ejector Systems, Water Treatment Systems, Membrane Units and PSA Units. Simon Coordinated between multiple disciplines and procurement and produced critical deliverables in accordance with the project schedule. Simon also aided the team progress by helping with other deliverables including the Master Equipment Lists.Mechanical Engineer - Umid-2 and Babek Project (June 2019)Detailed Design for development of the Umid and Babek field, consisting of a production and drilling platform, living quarters and utility platform and a well-head platform.Simon was responsible for the Pressure Vessel package, which comprised of 18 vessels (columns, separators and KO drums). Simon was also responsible for supporting the lead static engineer and, therefore, assisted and lead on other packages including: Electric Heaters, Tanks, Pig Launchers and Receivers and Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers. Simon spent time working in the Baku office and presented training courses to aid the development of the SOCAR-KBR Baku team. In addition, Simon was involved in meetings with the client in Baku, BCMs with equipment suppliers and was responsible for liaising with the client-based procurement team.Mechanical Engineer - Absheron Project (March 2019)EPS for a gas processing platform connected to the Oil Rocks facilities, about 100km South-East of Baku. Simon was responsible for organizing the clarifications and qualifications of Pig Receiver bids. This required constant communication with procurement to determine whether Suppliers were qualified and adhered to project requirements. In addition, a Technical Bid Evaluation had to be completed, showing the advantages and disadvantages of each Suppliers technical bids.
