The tested structures comprised: steel structures for traffic monitoring systems, RC foundations, motorway lights posts, tunnels. The test activities comprised: ultrasound test to estimate the thickness of the anticorrosive coating of steel structures, torque test of the anchor bolts with torque wrench, verticality test of steel posts, sclerometer test on RC foundations and tunnels vault, rebar scanning with HILTI Ferroscan, general visive inspections. After the tests campaign, a comparison between the test results and the previous inspection reports was carried out in order to identify any flaws in the client’s inspection procedures.• Anas s.p.a.: this project involved destructive and non-destructive tests on a prestressed concrete bridge on the SP33 road before reopening to traffic. The bridge structure was affected by heavy corrosion of the prestressed cables for this reason it was closed to traffic. The tests were carried out underneath the bridge using a Bybridge Truck-mounted platform. The tests comprised: coring of concrete samples for laboratory tests, carbonation level test on the concrete samples, identification of the prestressed cables curves, video-endoscope inspection of the prestressed cables, concrete cover measurement, counting of prestressed cables missing due to corrosion, sclerometer test on RC, rebar scanning with HILTI Ferroscan, general visive inspections. After the tests campaign, the bridge was reopened to traffic with vehicle weight restrictions and only on the middle lanes. Show less
