      Responsible for worldwide Operations and Engineering for the ECT Test Fixtures Group, and also ECT’s Director of Supply Chain and Energy Sustainability. Successful P&L responsibility for divisions located throughout the United States, England, Hungary, Singapore and Mainland China. Also responsible for direct and project management of the Group’s Software and Hardware engineering staff, and leader of all new product introductions (NPI).Two business units were set-up as Greenfield initiatives during this time in China. These became ECT’s largest and most profitable facilities in 2012. These facilities were keys to reducing material and labor content for all sites by 30% through supply chain initiatives. Worldwide process standardization, a new business operating structure was employed allowing the US sites to leverage a low cost manufacturing group for customers in the US. The U.S. business was restructured to a lean manufacturing approach in reaction to the migration of the consumer electronics business to China and Eastern Europe.As the Energy Captain for ECT energy costs were lowered by as much as 76% at one location, while achieving 50% overall when comparing 2010 to 2012. This was the highest savings recorded by any business group within Dover.As the Director of Supply chain for ECT worldwide, all goals we successfully achieved or exceeded in the areas spending sourcing, production, and logistics. Typical savings for logistics and hardware initiatives were over 15%. This role required strong communications, follow-up and coordination between ECT sites without a direct reporting structure. Also responsible for direct and project management of the Group’s Software and Hardware engineering staff. Increased revenue of the group by 50%, and improved overall profits margins to 18% during this period through business growth and competitor acquisitions. Six(6) new sites located in the US and Singapore were successfully added to the Fixture Group. Improved inventory turns to over 8 at all sites through the development of an in-house MRP software that automated and controlled inventory and purchasing functions. As team project leader, led site to attain ISO 9001 and 9002 certification. All divisions certified in a nine (9) month period.As acquisition team lead, assimilated two (2) new companies into the ECT Fixture Group and standardized processes to ECT standards. This assimilation includes processes, equipment, and software.As Engineering manager - developed architecture and managed software team in the coding of a custom software ERP system developed specifically for running job shop type business. Key attributes include MRP system, scheduling, quoting, capacity planning and work order generation specific to each customer’s needs.
