  Built an automatic test framework for testing new firmware releases. This involved handling the inputs for test execution from a web page, executing the test cases, extracting data from test reports and concisely publishing the results back on the web page. Worked with Selenium IDE for the test automation. Scripting done in Python and Perl. Automated the testing of network compatibility between an access point (Wi-Fi router) and proprietary Wi-Fi modules. Also made the framework scalable to enable testing of the Wi-Fi module against various routers from different vendors. Worked with Selenium IDE and Wireshark. Scripting done with Perl. The work involved identifying the features supported in Wi-Fi routers from different vendors. Automation of feature testing for the routers was done using Selenium IDE commands coded in XML. Scripts were written in Perl to build a test environment in Eclipse IDE.
