  I host a series of lectures called the Walter Harrison Leadership Academy. The focus of these lectures is to foster leadership qualities in the students at the university. The speakers range from Harvard vetted neurosurgeons to sitting United States Senators. I strive to acquire speakers from many different career fields. This helps the event have an impact on a larger group of students. This event is sponsored by the president of the university and the Inter-Fraternity Council. I am on the Executive Board for Fraternities at the University of Hartford.
