  In my first two years on the board I was able to plan a variety of small ticketed events such as trips to sports games and cupcake decorating nights on campus. In my last year as the Traditions Director, I was the event lead for 3 high-budget events. I oversaw the planning and event management of the 13th Annual Comedy Show, Crystal Ball at the Academy of Natural Sciences and Spring Jam with OK Go.

  In this position I wear many hats. I design curriculum, recruit instructors, source materials and organize a system to distribute supplies all over the east coast. My responsibilities include analyzing current trends and creating projects to generate excitement among young crafters. At The Handwork Studio I work with children ages 5-12 to teach hand skills such as knitting, sewing, and embroidery.

  At Dream Big Day Camp I was responsible for creating exciting new art curriculum and teaching students from 4-14 years old. It was amazing to understand the different ages and stages and the artistic capabilities of each student.

  In the private events department I am responsible for sales services for events such as weddings, corporate luncheons, birthday parties and much more. I consult with clients and help to plan their event from concept to completion. I work with a community of vendors to provide excellent service for all clients. In the Public Events Department I was responsible for managing all employees, volunteers, and vendors during the Corn Maze, Pumpkin Festival and Santa's Village. I also helped in creating signage, activities, and interactive spaces for the previously mentioned events.
