  Organised academic events for members of the society. Worked to create our charity challenge 'Mission to Mozambique' where we tracked all distance our members had walked/ran to see if we could walk to Mozambique in 3 months. We successful achieved this and raised £420 for the charity Save the Oceans. In the Leeds University Union awards for 20/21, we won 'Best Society Challenge' and 'Best Academic Society' Working as part of the Faculty of Biological Sciences Employability and Careers Team, I am responsible for promoting careers events and help available to students to increase their employability skills and career prospects. I am the representative for the School of Biology and work alongside the other interns to advertise opportunities to all students in the Faculty of Biological Sciences.   STEM Internship Teach First

  A 3 day intensive course replacing the in-school STEM teaching internship I was supposed to attend in June. During this online course I learned about the different teaching techniques required to teach a STEM subject. I also learned more about the inequality in education and attainment around the UK, particular in the STEM sector. On the final day, I attended an assessment where I taught a lesson to assessors and discussed a behaviour-related case study.
