      Winner of "Store Chalo" Contest at Mobilestore - Oct 2010 "Store Chalo" is a company wide initiative where the non-store staff visit the front line stores to achieve better employee connect and improved store performance - on parameters like sales and profitability,customer experience, operational efficiency and store staff motivation.The contest involves each participant owning up one store with an objective of identifying improvement measures/initiatives - through extensive interaction with the store staff along with direct support in sales… Show more "Store Chalo" is a company wide initiative where the non-store staff visit the front line stores to achieve better employee connect and improved store performance - on parameters like sales and profitability,customer experience, operational efficiency and store staff motivation.The contest involves each participant owning up one store with an objective of identifying improvement measures/initiatives - through extensive interaction with the store staff along with direct support in sales activities.The key areas addressed by me were- increased sales through focus on conversion and up-selling- improved customer experience through cleanliness drive and drinking water facilities- improved inventory management using Stock ageing tool- motivating store staff for regular contribution to the company blog "CEO Desk"Key achievements were- Average daily sales increased from 37k to 53k.- Increased sales and profitability through Recharge and Connection categories- New highest single day sales with increase of 18% Show less
