  I founded the largest (and best competing) chapter in the Brevard County school district, invited professional guest speakers, ran weekly meetings during lunch “Power Hour”, used Remind 101 platform to notify students of upcoming meetings/events/field trips, helped all members prepare for their respective competitive event categories by creating a "Schedule Me" system (in which I held office hours outside of school hours for members to learn more about the competitions and how to succeed at their event), organized local field trips and tours, helped students build resumes based on the FBLA resume format, and registered all members for membership and conferences by using the FBLA-PBL website, emailing, and calling the state advisor and hotel employees. Show less I worked closely with an elected council consisting of high school FBLA members from across the state of Florida. Together, we created informational videos, hosted monthly webinars, wrote articles for the Florida FBLA newsletter, planned and hosted several statewide FBLA conferences (where I spoke on stage to several thousand members), assisted local chapters with running their school chapter more efficiently, helped members around the state with answering their questions/concerns, and secured sponsorships for the state competition. Specific events I participated in/ran included: a pre-National Competition event which allowed state conference winners to practice and prepare for nationals; the March of Dimes walk and dance at the national conference, and an official tour of Florida's Capital buildings/meeting with governor Rick Scott.   During my summer break in 2016, I served as a temporary Sustainability Board member, assisting in the creation of environmental committees and a contractor certification program entitled "Lagoon Friendly Lawns." During my summer break of 2017, I designed a "Welcome" brochure for new Satellite Beach city residents, assisted the accounting department with creating the $13 million annual yearly budget, created a second "Sustainable Business" certification program for all businesses in the Brevard County area, and helped the environmental project manager create a solar panel survey for businesses and review RPFs for solar panels to convert the city hall's energy source.
