      • The testing team was responsible for checking for bugs within the software from each release that was sent over by the Development Team. I took responsibility for delegating duties to each member of the team and setting deadlines for when these tasks needed completing. • I was also part of a cross functional team that was created to test and train the new company-wide collections software. The team was created from members of Finance, L&D, Customer Services and Management.• Part of my role was to check for errors in how the system worked and to suggest improvements based on my customer services experiences within the company. I took a methodical approach to ensure that nothing was missed. Using the notes from the latest release, I checked my sections had been updated and then worked through each completed section of the software. This was then followed up by a trial run through the software, simulating an average call, to ensure usability before completing any feedback for the developers.• During the training phase of the project the software was still not 100% developed. This meant adapting to the daily changes that came through from Development and adjusting my training plan accordingly. Show less

      • This role entailed working closely with other departments to deliver data requests to achieve monthly sales targets. It was essential to deliver in a timely manner and regularly required adapting to changing requirements from other teams and amending data appropriately.• Producing Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports across several different systems to identify customer requirements and problem resolution actions. I developed my communication skills whilst working with my team to complete reports required by managers and the exec to plan the following month’s targets, review the previous week/month’s activity and monitor daily sales productivity. Show less • During my time in Technical Support I was fortunate enough to work with a wide cross section of individuals from different roles within different businesses; from IT to Senior Partners, including Accountants, Directors and Managers.• I would discuss the problems that users had with the software, sometimes with the accountants themselves. I then used methodical troubleshooting methods to eliminate potential problems and to help find the required solution/solutions. • At times the support would involve something that was not within my remit (e.g. their security settings, hardware restrictions, outdated/unsupported OS).
