  My role was fast paced and required flexibility to respond to a variety of different demands from an international logistics team.Event ManagementI organised the annual Global Logistics Workshop; managing and monitoring a small budget and arranging all logistics from negotiating and securing the best venue and catering, to producing materials for the workshop. I was the point of contact for all participants from across 5 regions, and communicated key information in the run up to the event.PARCEL ProjectI assisted in the writing and securing of a DG ECHO funded capacity building consortium project (Partner Capacity Enhancement in Logistics- PARCEL) involving 10 other INGOs. I organised the project start-up meeting at AidEx in Brussels and produced and managed the communication strategy.Department SupportFor the Supply & Logistics department I am wrote a new communication strategy whilst implementing the existing strategy, which outlined a range of stakeholders and incorporates a variety of channels to best communicate relevant information.   I led the Fundraising Operations function for the Teach First fundraising department. This involved:- Line managing a team of two and guiding professional development- Being part of the Fundraising Leadership Team that would make strategic decisions about the direction of the department- Overseeing all fundraising operations to enable Teach First to raise over £7m, including income reconciliation, performance data, CRM management, GDPR compliance, prospect research, department operations and governance reporting- Collecting, analysing and presenting performance data to ensure targets were met and interventions put in place to mitigate risks- Identifying and finding solutions to ineffective ways of working and processes- Building and maintaining excellent relationships with external suppliers and internal colleagues in different departments- Leading meetings with a range of stakeholders, communicating complex issues clearly and influencing decision-making with data-informed recommendations - Managing the annual planning and budgeting cycle for the External Relations Division Show less My role included:- Leading on a diverse range of events including high-profile cultivation events, subject specific learning conferences and community networking events.- Promoting community fundraising to university societies, through challenge events and our mass participation twilight city run.- Leading on key logistical elements for all events in the fundraising event portfolio, including sourcing and managing relationships with suppliers, managing RSVPs, managing income and overseeing budgets for all events.
