Executed squadron-level and wing-level staff functions to include contingency planning, scheduling, training, standardization / evaluation, and operations management. Additionally, our organization was responsible for all regional community outreach activities in the Shindand District of Afghanistan. As the AEAG commander, our 100-member multi-national organizational goal was to train and advise the first-ever independent Afghan Air Force wing tasked with conducting pilot training and all base support functions for the 12,000 Afghan military members assigned.
