Supported the stand-up of the FEMA National Emergency Call Center Project through screening hundreds of potential call taker candidates security Entry On Duty (EOD) forms and coordinating fingerprinting with CSRA Team and FEMA representatives. The primary goal was to obtain qualified personnel as soon as possible to be trained and then support FEMA in responding to families in need due to the impact of the 2017 hurricanes. Over 2.5 million calls for FEMA support have been taken by this Call Center Team. Nominated by management and completed the Winning Solutions for Solution Architects (SA) Course. The course included best practices instruction and team exercises for the purpose of assisting Solution Architects to develop focused solution development strategies, pursue design activities to achieve wins, and prepare a technical story that will best present the solution to meet customer complex problems. Attended Program Launch Methodology Orientation Training related to program transition technical implementation Show less PM for IT Operations and Maintenance contract with federal government agency. Primary responsibilities include leading and managing integrated project teams from project inception through design, implementation, test, transition to operations, and project closure using Project Server. * Managed approximately 18 different IT infrastructure projects during a 3 year period. Projects were implemented through a strict Change Control Board (CCB) process and rigid Rational Unified Process (RUP) using Project Server and ServiceNow.* The vCloud Project designed and implemented a high quality product that was tested and put to use immediately. Numerous internal customers added improvements at key points in the project to gain the maximum use of the vCloud tool. The project product and processes developed are reliable efficient tools used in the production of new virtual servers. * Three critical projects managed were the Mainframe OS Upgrade Project, the CICS Upgrade Project for Mainframe, and the Control-M Upgrade Project. These projects required managing project team resources across seven different business units, and through the different development, test, QA and Production environments. Testing and production implementation required precise orchestration and coordination of a large number of disparate users and testers representing approximately 40+ different business applications. The three projects were implemented with no user impact. Many written compliments were received from multiple customers across the organization.* The Digital Rights Management Project and system was designed, developed, built, and tested in the development and production environments within 2 months using the approved RUP process. Pilot project users were trained and outfitted with the application software for trial use. Results achieved provided insight to future planning and implementation for document protection. Show less
