Main contractor: CCCSub contractor: DEPAMainly I was involved as interior designer and architect; my tasks are to take care of all the interior and architectural finishes and items such as doors, windows, stone, furniture, lighting, etc.Technical coordination, which includes architectural, interior and MEP in order to help getting there with the architectural and interior design concept.Revision of all the fire fighting, HVAC and all different supported systems to the building as per the British standards.Site supervision during the different stages of the project, factories visits to check the quality of interior and architectural items.Managing and leading the interior design team, organizing and leading all the ID site meetings with the main and sub-contractors.Receive/ Action request of information (RFI) that apply to interior/ architectural work, including RFI’S requiring design feed back or decision.Approve the contractor As-Built drawings.Assist with the final snagging and inspection of all public areas and guestrooms/ suites.Review the contractor’s claims/ variations and prepare recommendations for approval or rejections, also assist in negotiations with contractors regarding the value of claims or changes in schedules.All the above-mentioned was applied to all the FF&E work, including all the loose/ fixed furniture, fabrics, artwork, decorative lighting, accessories, etc. Show less
