  Worked at the Senior Open at Sunningdale Golf Club as an experienced runner through start to finish of the event. Working closely with the Championship Management team on all aspects of event management, to help produce the BMW PGA Championship to a very high level. I worked during set up, during the event and take down which meant I got a complete knowledge of how an event is produced from the start to the end.

  ◦ The Championship Management Department oversaw all things ‘outside the ropes of golf’. I.e. temporary infrastructure, utilities, public routing, safety management and many other aspects operationally. ◦ Manage multiple different events at any given time, all which have strict budget requirements that need to be met. This requires a strong attention to detail and to be able to create strong working relationships. ◦ Regularly collaborate with Partnership Management and Commercial Sales to create opportunities for sponsors and suppliers at each of the events, through being a part of their exhibition planning, and meeting all of their requirements on site. ◦ Working closely in depth with the Championship Directors to plan for future events by analysing previous events to help create budgets. ◦ Work and negotiate long term contracts and be a part of major tender processes for The European Tour across our events. ◦ Line manage newer team members and develop them where necessary.
