Began as the Administrative Assistant for the Office of State, Federation and Intergovernmental Affairs, a small team dedicated to serving the needs of the fifty state associations and multitude of related councils and conferences. Managed regular communications, dissemination of information, and collection of data with the state executive directors. Worked with affiliated groups and internal ATA departments to facilitate knowledge sharing and garner solutions for states’ specific needs. Assisted in the organization of conferences dedicated to the peer group we served. I also managed four databases, was responsible for the tracking of the departmental budget and outlining our strategic plan objectives and measurements, and was responsible for producing our association Leadership Directory amongst many other special projects. When my Senior Vice President was moved into the interim President and CEO position, I was moved to serve as the Executive Assistant in the President’s office. There I served as the first point of contact for the Executive Office and the state associations, serving all members and facilitating the coordination of their needs. I was also placed in charge of the Chairman’s Program where I served as the liaison and assistant to the Chairman of the Board, scheduling their travel and attendance to meetings with state associations and other groups. I also served onsite as their personal assistant during the ATA Management Conference & Exhibition. Show less
