  •Working on the Earls Gate Energy Centre in Grangemouth, Scotland and prior to that the Energy from Waste plant at Avonmouth, Bristol (TUPE Transferred from Clugston Construction •Implementation of company requirements and legal regulations paying specific attention to HSE legislation and quality. •Liaising with the subcontract supervisors/managers•Arranging co-ordination meetings with the various trades under my supervision. •Review Risk Assessment and Method Statement submitted by subcontractors and advise of any changes required•Liaising with the Clients representative to resolve any queries/ issues they raise. •Co-ordinator of temporary works•Extensive concreting experience – as well as previous hands-on experience I supervise preparation and inspect pours, supervise excavation, check cover formation, inspect formwork and reinforcement of steel. •Operating and promoting safe working on site. •Schedule, coordinate and supervise the daily activities of site operatives.•Ensure gangs/ site operatives complete all required documentation in line with customer/ company requirements. •Organization and monitoring the work of subcontractors on site. •Ensuring all works are carried out in line with approved method statements, conducting and amending risk assessments, delivery of toolbox talks and briefings. •Being proactive in challenging plant/equipment utilization and managing costs. •Tracking and documenting daily work productions.•Ensure site personnel have job relevant training requirements and all data is accurately recorded on personnel register. •Carry out and record site inspections. •Ensure the completion of works is carried out in a timely manner and within budget, proactively driving progress of works and challenging methods to maximize progress and minimize cost. •Order and manage hired/internal equipment. •Co-ordinate delivery and collection of materials as required. •Promote best practice and the company values.
