A metodologia utilizada neste trabalho baseou-se em pesquisa bibliográfica e na simulação do uso do Project Model Canvas, para demonstração da sua aplicação. Ao final, observa-se que um conjunto de práticas não substitui o outro, mas ambos se complementam no que diz respeito à gestão de projetos, as práticas apontadas no PMBOK mais indicadas para projetos que necessitam de maior detalhamento, e o Canvas constituindo-se como um modelo colaborativo, no qual o envolvimento entre os colaboradores do projeto gera maior integração e dinâmica à sua gestão.
