  The final Semester Industrial project was carried out in this Screw manufacturing Industry by solving an Industrial problem by adapting the Kanban system by supplying the demand in time by reducing work in progress. Planning production by considering the seasonal trend categorising the products into fast, medium and slow moving based on the production plan monthly, weekly and daily targets were fixed then the achievement rate was analysed and the issues were optimised. Reducing the inventory storage by setting up buffer stocks and indicating their levels by Kanban stock level indicators. Initiating the Easy storage retrieval system by arranging the products based on fast medium and slow-moving products and designing a Storage rack layout in the warehouse. Creating a forecasting model for upcoming years by analysing the previous year’s sales and demand, thereby enhancing the industry's productivity. Show less
