      As a member of the country management team, I oversaw the legal, compliance, and facilities administration departments for multiple sites. For four BASF entities in Malaysia, I served as the compliance officer responsible for enforcing the BASF Code of Conduct. I oversaw interactions between stakeholders and regional and international legal, insurance, real estate, and intellectual property units. I managed a unique six-month assignment to the BASF Regional HQ Asia Pacific in Hong Kong while playing a significant role in the leadership and development of the organisation.A small selection of my key contribution in this role:• Acted as a reliable business consultant, offering specialised guidance on legal, compliance, insurance, and corporate secretarial affairs to five BASF entities situated in Malaysia, encompassing the BASF AsiaPacific Shared Service Centre and the Toray BASF Joint Venture entity.• Orchestrated more than 100 training sessions aimed at engaging internal stakeholders, which included overseeing directors from the Asia Pacific region.• Enlightened Managing Directors from the Asia Pacific region at BASF about matters pertaining to Corporate Governance and Compliance.• Conducted a workshop centered around behavioural triggers to foster a growth-oriented mindset in Hong Kong, catering to Country Legal Heads, along with 60 participants during the Asia Pacific Legal Conference in Shanghai, China.• Provided support in the coordination of the 2018 Global Legal & Compliance Conference, hosting 160 attendees at the BASF headquarters in Germany. I oversee a task force that carries out ILO (International Labour Organisation) guidelines regarding labour and modern slavery.
