  Press Photographer and Content Communications Assistant

  While I was still studying I had to find an internship. As my portfolio was a bit rare, this wasn't that easy. A colleague of mine mentioned that one of the biggest broadcasting companies in The Netherlands were searching for a photography intern and communications assistant to be responsible for sending and receiving media content, and shooting images at television productions. After one interview they chosed me, and after 5 years I enjoy to be still working for them as a freelance photographer and editor. I photographed and edited for programs as Spuiten & Slikken, Werk aan de winkel, The Pitch, Europa doe je zo, De Beste Singer Songwriter, That's Live, Bureau Sport, Vroege vogels, Ranking the stars, Eva & Giel, Jan Wordt Vader and Ekdom in de Ochtend.Edited for programs as, The social club, Je zal het maar hebben, Golden Oldies, Cojones and Smeris.   CREATING CONNECTIONS IN CHAOSI have worked as a freelance photographer and art director since the age of 18, starting at the Dutch broadcasting company BNNVARA in Hilversum. Shortly after that, I continued to grow with freelance work at Vice Magazine, 3FM, De Festivalkrant, Ikea, Dance Valley, ALDA Events, Popronde, Sziget, KRO-NCRV, Amsterdam Open Air, Paradiso, Endemol, De Efteling, Zwarte Cross, Paaspop, Qurrent, Feyenoord, and many more.I’m especially motivated to help customers and companies stand out on social media, to bring innovation using AI, and to implement effective branding strategies. Currently, I am on the roster of AI artists at Media.Monks and from 2024 I will teach about branding and social media at Wisseloord Studios. Show less

  In 24 weeks time I photographed 24 different cities for the largest news agency in The Netherlands, ANP. My task was to travel to a different city every week and deliver new content for ANP's database. Without specific subjects or occasions to capture, I had the freedom to think creatively and discover all cities with my camera. Important roads, buildings and other hotspots got the most of my attention. As a 20 year old woman (at the time), this was a very interesting challenge. Allthough my main focus is to not only capture, but also create, it got me to many places, I felt energised as never before and I enjoyed every second of it. Show less

  Drawing from my profound fascination with science fiction, alternate realities, and artificial intelligence depicted in movies, I have created a substantial body of visual art.   During my time at Fontys Hogescholen, I was tasked with devising fictional assignments aimed at providing two student groups with insights into the creative industry, while guiding them through the process with constructive tips and feedback. Working with these talented individuals was very rewarding, and witnessing their growth throughout the process was particularly fulfilling.Providing them with valuable work experience and offering guidance by addressing their inquiries about my own experiences as a photographer and designer was both stimulating and enlightening. This responsibility ignited my passion, and I am eager to engage in similar endeavors more frequently.Additionally, I have mentored several interns at my own company and from 2024 I will start giving branding, AI and Social Media classes at Wisseloord Studios.
