  La Jarre de Sarepta est né après le décès brutal dans une famille de l'un des parents la laissant sans ressources; cela réveille notre responsabilité à l'égard de ceux qui sont dans la douleur et dans les difficultés matérielles après un accident de la vie. L'objectif est d'apporter un soutien financier à ces familles, "proches de nous" ou "proches de chez nous".
