I was able to establish many of the program fixtures (program retreat, program newsletter, program student events, program logo) during this critical process. I also won the Thesis Project Award for my graduate work in 2013 and published two papers and a review.

      Researcher in the field of Nonsense-mediated mRNA decay. During my postdoc, I published several papers, received awards for my research presentations, and was designated as a K22 grant recipient.

      My team continued to expand our technology, particularly with a focus on scalability and compatibility with all tissue types and therapeutic modalities. We interfaced scientifically and strategically with Intellia's In vivo and Ex vivo programs to apply our technologies to the full spectrum of therapeutic indications. I was also involved in developing research relationships with outside organizations. I led an interdisciplinary team tasked with building out one of the most challenging aspects of gene editing technology: DNA templates for delivery by LNPs.
