  Was a conselor 16th December 2016 till June 2018. From December 2017 to March 2018 a contract was put in place to be a Pro-Counselor. As a Pro-Counselor weekly stock checks on equipment and a subsequent report to the Head Counselor of the camp had to be completed as a part of the job role.From February 2018 till April 2018, an additional role was taken on as a Squad Leader. In this position, depending on the size of the camp, there would between 5 to 10 Counselors reporting to each Squad Leader. The duties were: ● Plan and run evening programmes. ● Weekly written evaluations for each counselor. ● Manage the smooth operation of daily programs. ● Reporting of any problems to the front office. Due to the Head Counselor being on leave for 7 days, another role was taken upon myself, this was to be the Acting Head Counselor for the duration. Responsibilities in this regard were numerous administrative responsibilities, including liaison with the teachers of the attending school, to ensure that the children and teachers were happy. In addition, a weekly report to the resort manager and owner of Sugar Bay had to be compiled, giving an evaluation for each counselor performance in that week. Show less
