  I did a six months internship at the University of Hertfordshire working on my final thesis on chemical synthesis. The aim of the project was to synthesize six different compounds to be used as reference standards in other analytical techniques. The synthesis work was supported by the analysis of the obtained products with NMR spectroscopy (proton and carbon), IR spectroscopy and TLC chromatography.
