  Activities and Societies: Course work complete in Rome and in Greece. Attended a Bronze age technology workshop in the UK and worked heavily on languages. As an undergraduate I was part of the Classical Students association and organized events for them. I received the Lawrence Decore award for student leadership and Jason Lang scholarship. I worked as a Teaching Assistant during my Masters program. Teaching is my strong point and passion. Providing leadership and helping student write essays and engage in history by relating it to themselves is the most rewarding experience I have had.   Activities and Societies: Fencing Club My passion for history first led me to Mount Royal College now University, as their Archaeology program included researchers who specialized on the Ancient Near East and Kushite Sudan. Dr. John Robertson and Dr. Glenn Wilkinson for the History Department were instrumental in my future endeavors in post secondary education.
