  I took on the role of coordinator of training within the UL, of Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) training programs. I began as a trainer delivering MOS courses. After taking over as director I took charge of a number of tasks including trainer recruitment, course scheduling, managing materials and finance and payment responsibilities. I have expanded the program's customer base and certification section. I became the University liaison with the Microsoft IT Academy and implemented UL's membership to the Academy for two years. Show less I have specialised in Supply Chain Management research over the last number of years via supply chain simulation. My main area of study is 'information sharing under uncertainty in capacitated supply chains'. This has included some consultancy work through the ERC with electronics manufacturers. The work involved inventory control and procurement/supplier management issues under multiple supply chain performance criteria. I also have keen interest in mass customization, logistics and statistical data analysis from my studies. Show less

Vast majority of flow cell buys are engineered to order per customer project. Work closely with a small number of key suppliers along with the quality, sourcing, project management and project engineering teams from order to receipt.
