It was a pleasure to be a part of such a great team and contributing to various beneficial programs.

  Summer Camp Trainee

  I was one of 13 students, who were selected for Schlumberger Summer Camp Baku 2022. In total, the summer camp lasted 6 days from August 29 to September 5. Each day of the camp consisted of different and interesting activities from each other. The launch day in the camp was dedicated to the opening ceremony, which was a meeting with recruiting and management teams of the company, an introduction about the company, and HSE training (I have to accept that I’ve admired the HSE standards of Schlumberger). On the following days, initially, quizzes based on previous days’ training to check learnings, and before the lunch break, an intensive training program, which were covering the info about the divisions and their main jobs, later, workshops and site visits were organized. During the workshops, different tools were given to students to dismantle and assemble again. On the 3rd day, during a site visit to Cameron, a Schlumberger company, I had an opportunity to observe subsea facilities in person. Other activities were the round table with female engineers and various team competitions. Last day, we delivered our project as a team about “The use and impact of AI and digitalization in the oil and gas industry”. The camp left me with unforgettable memories.
