  The National Service Scheme is an Indian government-sponsored public service program conducted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of India. Popularly known as NSS. I started my journey as a volunteer under NSS SoEE Project Lakshya (KIIT University). I was one of the key volunteer of the rural development team of SoEE Project Lakshya. During this journey of three years, with the help of our program officers and other head dignitaries we adopted three villages in Odisha namely Padmakeshripur, Injana and Tangibanta. We conducted a number of awareness programs, social welfare programs, swach bharat summer internships , oral camps (where we were trained by NOCPI ) and many more to create a better environment and well being of people.I am glad to share that I was also selected as one of the " Best volunteer.
