  My time at the National Commission for Women, Ministry of Women and Child Development was an excellent opportunity to learn the intricacies of counseling and crisis management. The work included assisting professionals and counseling victims of heinous crimes like Domestic violence, Rape, Sexual harassment, Dowry harassment, etc. The remaining time was spent understanding the working of the government and the programs running especially for women.
