  Global compliance & ops internal audit - senior expert/director

  I joined the Firm to design, develop, and implement the global Compliance internal audit function. We have developed the internal processes of the Compliance internal audit function from an operational, structural, and reporting perspectives. My role also consists of identifying the risk universe or framework, designing the strategy following a risk-based methodology focusing on key risks, and reviewing processes and procedures based on the strategy to identify gaps and improvement opportunities. Based on this work, we advise the Risk Global Committee and senior leaders on specific actions to be implemented to enhance the control framework and the compliance culture. We conduct regular follow-ups on these actions to make sure this process has a real impact on the Firm. As part of our role, we participate in discussions with other second-line of defense teams (Risk, Due diligence, Crisis response) to promote compliance culture, support ad hoc efforts and align criteria to protect the Firm. I have also been involved in the selection and implementation of an internal audit tool that has had a strategic impact on the way we work from an operational and reporting point of view. Show less
