  Initially starting here as an R&D engineer, I was given the opportunity to move an accelerometer project from feasibility to production. The project ended up becoming the largest project for the company. I was also promoted to a senior R&D engineer and then the project manager for the project.

  A brand new position when I started, I was responsible for creating and leading the Lessons Learned Program at ATCO Electric. I developed strategic plans, processes, tools, databases, and templates for the program, and was also responsible for operation of the program, including facilitation, lesson propagation, trend analysis, and reporting.

  As the Director, Professional Services, I directed 50+ managers, project managers, and specialists directly and indirectly from the Project Controls, Document Controls, Valard Training Centre, Project Management Office, Mobile Business Operating System (Software Development), and Quality departments. As the manager of Valard's Project Management Office, I managed a team of project managers, coordinators and data scientists that provided support to projects and provided company insights through business analytics. As part of the Corporate Controls team, I was responsible for connecting information from the field to the head office, providing visibility and analysis on critical issues, project status, company assets, financials, and human resources directly to the President through weekly meetings. I was also responsible for implementing and running the War Room, the operations centre where this information was displayed.
