      Founder and Director

As co-founder of this language immersion summer camp, I was involved in every aspect of its development. I worked with the year-round team to develop our mission and values, and then ensured the integration of those values into all of our work. My role as communications lead led me to engage in a meaningful way with families, language teachers, and language teaching organizations across three states. While our camp didn't outlast COVID, I'm proud of what we built and the impact we had on our campers and staff. Show less

      Adjunct Faculty

As an adjunct faculty member, I supported graduate and undergraduate students in critically reflecting on their understanding of themselves and the world. I participated in a self-assessment pilot for an AU freshman seminar course, and incorporated self-assessment into all courses that I taught. In my role as a Graduate Assistant in AU's new online EdD program, I supported efforts to strengthen community across cohorts. I also contributed to organization's development through writing a newsletter, editing our student handbook, and supporting faculty development of courses in the Canvas learning management system.
