      Software Engineering Intern

      Worked as a part of the Infrastructure Technology team under Digital Engineering.The highlight of my role was creating and deploying three separate Flask web apps to provide a 90% reduction in time spent undertaking heavy vehicle assessments. The apps are currently used by both Transport for NSW and Sydney Trains and have already saved engineers thousands of hours in their work.Other key projects worked on include:- Creating an inventory management and booking software for the team using a Flask/Azure PostgreSQL backend- IoT: worked on creating a real-time dashboard for the Parramatta Light Rail video analytics trial at Church/Macq St- Harnessing the Microsoft Power Suite to create an end-to-end manager reporting and dashboarding solution for another team in our division- Conducting field trials using Boston Dynamics' Spot robotI have also helped the team present our work at various conferences and events such as the Engineers Australia Engineering Summer School 2022.
