  Planning of raw and packaging material to ensure sufficient stock at 3rd party sites for production. My KPIs are inclusive, but not limited to, management of logistics network for third parties to ensure the right stock is at the right sites on time. Inventory reduction through supplier stock holding agreements, reviewing IPMs. Business waste reduction through active management of slow moving stock, stock close to expiry and reduction of air freight due to demand variations. Minder weergeven As part of the planning excellence team I was the lead for the product category of the team which encompassed Inventory, Masterdata, Innovation & SC academy and capability building. Under the inventory pillar, I rolled out the Inventory loss tree tool to Africa, developing inventory reports for the planning team to focus on areas to reduce inventory as well as tracking inventory against glidepath. Under masterdata and innovation, I was part of the team that rolled out a new masterdata tool to speed up the masterdata process. Under the SC academy pillar, I looked after capability building for Africa as well as leading events in partnership with Women in Engineering. The strategic planning role looks at a category end to end within a 2-5-year horizon. The strategic sourcing element of the role involves make or buy studies, 3rd party set-up and new factory expansion projects. I also was part of margin enhancement projects in the 5S programLong term capacity planning for all savory and refreshments factories in Africa. Development of long term factory strategies. Feedback on any investments required to leadership teams and initiating investment projects with technology teams to ensure all future demand can be supplied. End to end innovation management, driving growth across Africa for Unilever’s Savory and Refreshments portfolio.
