This was where I learned to explore Foucault, Derrida, and Nancy intensively, which, in the beginning, was a real challenge. However, I made fantastically multicultural friends at College Gardens, where I eventually learned a bit about fluid mechanics and its green energy application, especially wind-mill floater through regular conversations with engineering housemates.

Fall semester exchange studies from IHEID at Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA). I had some very exciting yet surprising types of assignments (group essays, among all else). My professor of the Southeast Asian Integration class - Dr. Camroux was the reason I wanted to have an academic exchange semester, who became incredibly helpful for my dissertation. This semester also opened my eyes to the many aspects of global health, which I have become more and more fond of. Genuinely this is where I call home. I intended to pursue Studio Art, but instead took a drastic turn to the department of History, Political Sciences and International Relations. Aug 2010 - May 2012
      Art Galleries Assistant

Besides working for the most delightful boss, I got to take care of some masterpieces. My duties revolved around welcoming guests to the galleries, offering them a tour if they wished to know the details of our galleries and paintings, repairing and setting up galleries up to museum standard which we were trained for, managing inventory at times, and taking on the role of photographer at our events and symposiums. Thanks to this job I was able to be in direct contact with some Dali's, Rembrandt's and Warhol's prints, and weighed in on where some paintings would be located on campus. Show less

    • Knight Frank

      Jun 2011 - Aug 2011
      Marketing Assistant

Assisting Knight Frank's marketing team with projects and events, promoting Knight Frank and its objectives regarding real estates.I learned incredibly much here: from cold calling, coordinating and negotiating with sponsors, MC-ing, to actually assisting colleagues to real estate units to evaluate and produce catalogues. The Marketing department was small, so my responsibilities gradually expanded.

    • Vietnam National Television (VTV)

      Jun 2013 - Aug 2013
      Editorial Intern

Editing VTV and Daily Biz (Business-Finance) news. Assistant to reporters. Assistant to producers during broadcasting hours (VTV News Live 15.00; VTV News 18.00; Daily Biz 22.00 every day). Even though I had been familiar with Final Cut Pro during my high school years, working on the Final Cut Pro during this internship was a different experience due to the specific format of footage. Still a love-hate relationship with Final Cut Pro.

      Editor in Chief

The Wesleyan Word is the official newspaper of Wesleyan College, GA. The paper represents the voice of Wesleyan student-body on multiple aspects. Our issues were significantly more diverse in voices and stands, which really boosted our readership. Two issues are published every semester, each allowed us to spend long nights at the lab working on the final production with InDesign and Photoshop.I was also in charge of communicating with the printer and final production of these issues in accordance with our allocated budget.
