  I have been deputed with the National Health Authority Innovation Unit (NIU), which has been established to lead the creation and implementation of NHA’s Innovation strategy and facilitate creation of a robust innovation pipeline to bring much needed innovations to the health ecosystem. The NIU, by creating strategic partnerships, will focus on enabling a seamless pathway in the ecosystem that allows mainstreaming of innovations for increasing the efficacy of PM-JAY (Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana) implementation. The NIU has the following key focus areas:• Developing a framework that engages the NHA and various other stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem to work together in order to create maximum impact for PM-JAY• Identifying promising innovations and the types of support needed for their growth• Facilitating a dedicated structure to test, validate and scale innovations within a closed feedback loop system Show less
