  Conducted initial training in the Boeing P-8A Poseidon, completing a comprehensive and demanding Combat Readiness Pilot Training syllabus in preparation for the Fleet. The training consisted of ground simulator, in-flight, and Crew Resource Management training.

Officer in Charge of a 30 personnel detachment to the AFRICOM AOR. Deployed three times to 5th, 6th and 7th Fleet.
