  Postdoctoral research associate | physiological image analysis

  - Worked on the analysis of arterial spin labelling (ASL) MRI, a non-invasive, non-ionising, but low-resolution, method of measuring perfusion to brain tissue.- Performed a systematic comparison of the impact of techniques to correct for partial volume confounds on the sensitivity and repeatability of ASL MRI measures of perfusion. - End-to-end ASL perfusion analysis pipelines involved Bayesian inference of model parameters to incorporate prior information into the estimation of perfusion metrics from noisy data.- Collaboration with dementia and stroke clinicians to develop and test analysis methods.- Lead developer for the BASIL toolbox, the most widely used library of ASL analysis tools worldwide, which has been used in >75 independent studies, and is part of the world renowned FMRIB Software Library (FSL) of MRI analysis tools.
