  I worked in the Sewall Lab on a research project focused on bat susceptibility to white-nose syndrome. Our project seeked to improve understanding of factors influencing both the impacts and spread of the disease, and means to conserve bat populations in light of this ongoing threat. In particular, my responsibility was to analyze the images of bat wings under UV light that have been collected across many field sites. I collected, analyzed, and organized data related to Pseudogymnoascus destructans (Pd) growth on bat wings that leads to white-nose syndrome. Show less
